Maya Joint is an American-born Australian tennis player, born
April 16, 2006, in Michigan.
She began representing Australia
in 2023 and trains at Tennis
Australia’s National Tennis
Academy in Brisbane.
Joint made her Grand Slam singles debut at the 2024 US Open, winning
her first match.
In 2025, she won her first WTA Tour singles and doubles titles at the Morocco Open.
She reached a career-high singles ranking of No. 53 and doubles
ranking of No. 107 in May 2025.
Joint is known for her rapid rise, becoming the youngest Australian
to win a WTA 1000 match at age 19.
She has also played for Australia in
the Billie Jean King Cup and
reached the Eastbourne final in
June 2025.
Maya Joint reached her second
final of 2025 and first on grass at
the Eastbourne International.
Her run to the Eastbourne final
included notable wins over
Ons Jabeur and Emma Raducanu.
