Sarina Wiegman is the first coach to  win back-to-back UEFA Women's  Euros with two different nations, Netherlands (2017) and England (2022).

She guided England to their first  major trophy by winning UEFA  Women's Euro 2022.

She led the Netherlands to their  first FIFA Women's World Cup final  in 2019, finishing as runners-up.

She won The Best FIFA Women’s  Coach award four times, more than  any other coach.

She coached teams to four  consecutive major international finals: Euro 2017 (win), World Cup 2019 (runner-up), Euro 2022 (win),  World Cup 2023 (runner-up).

As a player, she became the first  Dutch woman to earn over 100 caps  for the national team.

She won the Dutch league and cup  titles as both a player and coach at  club level.

She was appointed Honorary Commander of the Order of the  British Empire (CBE) for her services to football.
